This one was a full outdoor concrete build - driveway approach, front walkway, and a backyard patio space all done in one scope of work. When you're starting from bare dirt and raw ground, getting the concrete right from the jump is what sets everything else up for success.

The front walkway is a good example of what clean formwork and proper finishing looks like. Evenly spaced control joints, a smooth broom finish, and tight edges right up against the soil. That's not an accident - it takes a crew that knows what they're doing at every step, from setting forms to finishing the surface before it sets.

Out back, we poured a large circular patio that connects to a straight concrete run toward the house. The radius edge on that circle is crisp and consistent all the way around. Details like that are easy to cut corners on, and they're also the first thing people notice when it's done well.

The driveway approach wraps it all together - wide, flat panels with clean joint lines running edge to edge. We worked alongside Clear Vision Landscaping on this one, and having both crews coordinated meant the concrete and the surrounding landscape came together without any headaches.

When concrete is laid correctly, it holds up for decades and makes every other improvement around it look better. Whether it's a patio, a sidewalk, or a full driveway approach, the process matters as much as the end result.
